Why?????

Why are most guys insesitive jerks??? My current bf..... soon to be ex, has to be one of the biggest jerks out there. I am pretty sure he lied to me about breaking up with this one chick, and is dating her and me. All I ever hear is " I saw Leif and "this chick" together the other day" I mean you tell me if you break uo with someone do you contiune to spend lots of time with them, cause I was under the impression that ya don't..... and today they came into my work, and he called my cell twice to tell me he was there, and he thought I was on my break..... Like common do I really wanna spend my break with you and the person who is suposed to be your ex..... No I don't think so, and for the past 2 weeks any time I called him to hang out he said he was busy or he would try. Like he just got a new job, and I understand he is busy with that, but when he had time off I would think he would wanna come and see me....., but Nope, I havn't seen him in almost 3 weeks, minus today for the 2 seconds i saw him in the lobby at work... And everybody is telling me to break up with him, and I wanna, but at the same time I wanna talk to him, and let him know how he is making me feel, and get some kind of expliation on why he lied to me, and if he even cares how much he hurt me, and the hardest thing about this whole thing is I still love him, so its like I don't wanna dump him, but I know I should..... I am hoping he comes up tonight so I can talk to him, I have told him we need to talk, and we can't just keep shoving this aside, cause I am really hurt..
