Christmas 08

So this year was my first christmas ever without my family..... Yes it was tough but not as tough as I thought. Thanx to the best room-mates ever, Jeff and Malissa. I was feeling down on Christmas eve, and Jeff and Malissa both gave me BIG hugs to help me feel better:D they also helped get my mind off things.. if you guys ever read this I love you both, and am so greatfull and happy to have such good friends like you guys out here. I am not saying that you guys back home arn't good freinds cause you are... you guys were so hard to leave, and I do love you all. I am just saying my new room-mates r awsome. lol....
So speaking of my room-mates they just had a new baby girl on the 25th of November.. and she is adorable, just like her older sister, those 2 girls r the cutest.
So as we leave 2008 and enter 2009, I want to wish everyone a awsome year, and hope all goes well for everyone, and for my friends back home I hope to see most of you while I am home in the summer... if all goes well. :D

Merry Christmas, and Happy new Year everyone

UPDATE

OK so I have no clue if anybody is even looking at this anymore because I havn't updated it since Christmas time. Crazy I know, but things picked up at work and got a bit busy. Since then for those who don't know I got promoted at work almost 4 months ago to entry level managment. I still love my job a lot.
I got my lisence around the same time as being promoted, So I no longer have to get rides from others I can come and go as I want. I love the freedom. I don't love paying for gas to much and my car payment, but thats life.
I also want to inform you that another big change is goin to most likely be happening to me again.. My step dad got a job offer back in Toronto, so it is a good possibilty that a move back to Ontario will be happening. BUT don't get to excited because that move will not include me. As of right now Ontario is not somewhere I see my self and am currently not ready to move back to Peterborough. That does not mean somewhere down the road I will not move back there. I just am not ready to leave my job, as I can see my self progressing upwards in work. I recently had the oppertunity to do so, as there was a opening for a supervisor position, but at this point I felt I was not fully ready for all the responsibilty I would have to have. I have no dought in my mind that I could do the job no problem, I am just not ready at this point.
So on that note I will once again be moving out on my own, so if any of you plan on coming out to Calgary and need a place to stay let me know. I will be looking for a room-mate out here again, and have to check with them and make sure it is cool I have overnight guests for a bit, but I am sure whoever i room would be ok.. HEHE.

Well I think thats all I have for now...

TALK TO U SOON again if anyone even reads this

Update on the boys and things

I don't know if anyone is still reading this thing, I know its been a while since I have updated it. Over a month. So I thought I would come on and give you and update on Liam and how the surgery went. For thoese of you who do not read my brother, and sister-inlaws blog, Liam's recovery was going really well, and they thought they would have him home in a week. It ened up being around 3 weeks. His one tube would not stop draining, so they had to keep him in the hospital till that finished draining. Once that was done they were able to take him home, but he was still sick with what they thought were early signs of pneumonia which is not good, and put Liam through more pain due to him insision (i think i spelt that right its just not coming to me today lol) So the doctors put him on antibiotics to help get rid of that, and I assume he is doing much better now, I havn't heard of it getting any worse. All I am hearing is good things on how much happier he is now after his surgery. Which is good for Matt and Mare.
As for me I am still at grand&toy now off the night shift, and for a week my shift had changed, and I was on 4-12:30, but then they wanted my brother and I to switch to 1-9:30, so thats wat I am doin now, and I absoulutly love it. My job is good. Although I do miss all my friends from Mickey D's. (if any of u r reading this) Calgary is goin well, kinda boring at times cause I still only know my co-workers, but I have been able to get in a few hockey games with my family. The first night all 4 of us went, but the tickets were kinda split up so my dad and brother sat in one section, and my mom and I sat in another, then the second time Matt(my other brother Matt) and I went, then the last time all 4 of us went again, but this time all sat together. The Calgary Hitmen games are the games we went to... The Flames r so expensive.. So i just watch them on tv lol.

Anyways WOW can u belive Christmas is in 9 days... Where has this year gone.??

well i can't think of to much more to add in here so I am gonna leave u with pix of my adorable nephews.
TAKE CARE EVERYONE I MISS U ALL

Calling in the prayers again

On November 13th, my little nephew Liam is going to be having his heart surgery, for his TOF. Today he is up at Sick Kids for his pre-op. So if you could remember Liam in your prayers, and his mom and dad (my brother and sister-inlaw), and his twin brother Zefram, that would be greatly apprecated. This poor guy has gone through so much already, being in the hospital for 4 months of his life, and now he is goin back. I sometimes wonder why babies have to go through this, but then I remember God has a plan for everyone, and all this is happening for a reason.

Thanx everyone.

This is Liam
